North Texas Council

American-Constitution-320

The North Texas Council was founded in July 2011 by grass-root leaders from all over North Texas.  We are concerned with the direction our country is taking with regards to fiscal responsibility and the lack of constitutionality of our government laws.   Our purpose is to share information and unite North Texas to restore pride and dignity back into our constitution, our supreme law of the land.

The Constitution of the United States of America  was created to govern the government, and many analysts agree that The Constitution was originally intended to control the Government, and now it is used to control 'We the people'

We recognize this to be true and the North Texas Council's main reason of existence is to disseminate the truth about the issues that plague our government and spread the truth far and wide no matter how obtuse it may be; so that we can bring back the power of our Constitution, which is to constrict the Government within the boundaries of its meaning.

We Believe :

  • In the Divine right to freedom for every individual as endowed by our Creator
  • That a government can govern only with the consent of the governed
  • That our Federal Government is a representative republic limited to the expressed powers that have been delegated by the people
  • The Bill of Rights is a guarantee from governmental intrusion
  • That the government acting apart from the people cannot restrict the freedom of peaceful thought, expression, or action
  • That people are individually and collectively responsible for their actions

 We Recognize that:

  • There is no Article or Amendment of the U.S. Constitution which the current leadership in Washington  D.C. has not abused and/or usurped over the last three years.
  • The Government does this with full impunity without regards to the wishes of the citizens of the Country.
  • The erosion of our Constitutional Republic has been occurring for over a hundred years.
  • The people have allowed these intolerable offenses against the republic without raising objections to prevent this from happening
  • Our country is controlled by a small group of Elite individuals whose agenda is to turn us into a full fledged communist Country.
  • We cannot let this destructive behavior continue if we want this and future generations to experience true freedom
  • The Unconstitutional Federal Reserve system which establishes money as debt keeps printing money out of thin air further compromising our economy.

Mission

The North Texas Council is committed to pro-active, non-violent, mass-movement of citizens with the goal of achieving and maintaining constitutional governance in America respecting our inherent rights

About Us

By Laws

By Laws of the North Texas Council

Objective: Collaborate and direct our collective actions and ideas to protect and defend our freedoms, the foundation of the Constitution of Texas and of these United States of America while upholding Judeo-Christian values.

ARTICLE I.

The name of this group shall be North Texas Council.  Established July 30th, 2011!

This group shall meet once a month for approximately two hours (time is flexible but agendas will be set with the goal of two hours).

MEMBER:  A Member entitled to vote shall be any person who has attended at least two meetings, has signed in to each meeting, and has signed and accepted these By Laws.  Three consecutive absences by a Member will cause that Member to lose voting privileges until the second consecutive meeting next attended.  All Members are leading or will lead others in our cause to regain power of our State of  Texas and the United States of America and prevent its ruin from vain and aspiring men and women who now or in the future may possess the highest seats in Government.

CHAIR:  At each meeting the Members present shall nominate a Chair for the current meeting.  The Chair shall be rotated evenly among the Members.    The purpose of the Chair is to keep the meeting progressing on a timely schedule and to keep it fair.  The Chair shall define who has the floor to speak after a presenter – IF and ONLY IF necessary (if members are not taking turns on their own or if so many people are speaking out that the meeting is getting confusing or argumentative).  The Chair will announce the order of who will speak by saying: “The Chair recognizes person A, then B then C, etc.   Also, the Chair will help motions move along.   Once a motion has been made the Chair will say “Do I hear a second.”   Then Chair will announce the vote: “All in favor of ______ say “Aye,” all not in favor say “Nay.”  If necessary Chair will openly count votes by raised hands.

COORDINATORS:  The North Texas Council will have three Coordinators who will be the backbone and administrative people for this group.   Coordinators will serve for a six month term.   Two of the Coordinators will be voted in and begin serving on the same date for a term of six months.  The third Coordinator will be voted in and will start three months after the other two, also for a six month term.  This third Coordinator will overlap and be the connector from one group of two Coordinators to the next two Coordinators.  Coordinators can volunteer or be nominated to be voted into office during a regular North Texas Council Meeting.   Voting for Coordinators will happen during the North Texas Council meeting a month ahead of the ending term of Coordinator(s), or earlier if needed.  Coordinators will be responsible for:

  1.  maintaining email lists,
  2.  inviting new guests to meetings,
  3.  coordinating, finding, approving, following up with meeting Directors,
  4.  securing meeting locations,

WEBSITE ADMINISTRATION:  Three Website Administrators shall be elected by the Members.  The Website Administrators shall have primary control of the website and the membership mail list, and any one of them has the authority to moderate Forum content and emails sent to the membership list, including the authority to temporarily prevent a Member from using the website, whether posting or using the email list, if that Member is being disruptive.  The consent of a majority of the Website Administrators and the Coordinators is required to add, remove or reconfigure website modules or to add affiliates.

Three Content Moderators shall be elected by the Members to monitor the overall consent of the website(s) and insure that articles and statements on the website(s) reflect the intent of the Members generally.  Any conflict will be decided by a majority of the Content Moderators and the Coordinators.

  2.  Be a Member and be true to the North Texas Council objective.
  3.  Be the contact person for the agenda for the meeting (including being accessible to Members who want to be placed on the agenda).
  4.  Write the agenda and include time for such “housekeeping” issues as the Coordinators deem necessary; make copies of the agenda for each Member, and send out email before the meeting with meeting information (including whether meeting will be filmed, by whom, why, and obtain Members’ permission).
  5.  Appoint a secretary to take minutes.
  6.  Write a full report of the meeting and send to all Members.

Specific Duty Members can be designated if the Members vote for the designation.  (Example:  videographer, photographer, secretary, newsletter, etc.)

ARTICLE II

Attendance will be determined by the number of Members present and a quorum will be those in attendance at any given meeting.

Agendas will be determined by the Members.  Members will be allowed to sign up to speak, present, train, or bring issues before the meeting on the signup sheet before the meeting.  Due to time constraints, Members who did not get to speak will be put on top of the list of the next meeting in the order in which they signed up.

After Members’ presentations, all other Members will have an Open Discussion about that topic (ask questions, give pros and cons, suggest solutions).

Motions are made to move the meeting along.  Such motions are (but not limited to):  motions to end Open Discussions, motion to give solutions, motion to adjourn, motion for a vote, motion for secret ballot vote, etc.).

Each Member (as defined above) shall have the right to cast their own vote and a Member’s vote is equal to one vote.  There will be no proxy votes (delegating your vote to another Member).

ARTICLE III

Any Member may be removed by the affirmative vote of the Members present and entitled to vote at any meeting (in person, by conference call, or webinar) as long as notice has been given to all Members by email and all Coordinators are present along with at least eight other Members.  If the Member removed is also a Coordinator, Website Administrator, Website Content Monitor, or any other elected position, an election will be held immediately to fill the remaining term of this position.

ARTICLE IV

Our intention is to work together with rotating leadership in pursuit of our Objective.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions:

How Often does the NTC Meet

The North Texas Council meets every month in a location that is selected by the acting "director".

Who heads the NTC

Leadership roles within North Texas Council are performed on a rotating and volunteer basis to encourage individual participation and ownership in local government. Many hands make for light work.

North Texas Council was founded in July 2011 by a small group of civically active citizens spanning five counties in North Texas to share best-practices and information to take back to their local community groups. There is no permanent board to dictate or limit citizen involvement or activities other than those outlined in the By Laws of the NTC.

We are open to and supported by individuals of all political stripes. All men are created equal and are respected as such within the activities of the NTC. Activities are centered upon those inherent unalienable interests that all People have in common; the sanctity of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. We wholly support the Founding Principles within the Declaration of Independence and the Original U.S. Constitution and are committed to restoring these principles in our communities, states, and country through education and civic involvement in a lawful, peaceful, and respectful nature.

Welcome! We hope you will use the data and tools we try to supply at this website and at our monthly meetings to further advance the voice of individual liberty in your community. We invite you to join our meetings when you can and help us restore the Republic of the United States of America.
